With the expanse of the Internet of Things (IOT) data can be obtained in real time and give insight into a medical device’s reliability helping create maintenance plans. This same real time data transfer can also provide knowledge about personal patient data. A growing trend is the use of wearable technology to track a patient’s statistics allowing a doctor employing a Data Science solution to monitor and respond in real time to a patient’s health status.
